WHY:» ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æns are invited to voice their concerns about issues facing the University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ during a public testimony with the University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Board of Regents from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19. The two-hour session gives any ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æn the opportunity to comment on issues such as the Governor’s proposed budget cuts to UA, input on UAA’s School of Education accreditation status and other higher education issues.
The Board of Regents’ Academic and Student Affairs, and Facilities and Land Management committees will meet February 21 in Fairbanks. To listen in on committee meetings, go to . »However, there is no opportunity for public testimony at committee meetings.
The full Board of Regents meeting is slated for February 28-March 1 in Anchorage, and one-hour of public testimony is planned at 8:15-9:15 a.m. on February 28.
