University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Announces Increased UA Scholars Award and Enhanced Flexibility for Recipients
Anchorage, ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ – July 11, 2024 – The University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ is pleased to announce that the UA Scholars Award will be increased from $12,000 to $15,000, effective Fall 2024. This significant enhancement marks the first major increase in the Award amount since 2015, reflecting the University's commitment to supporting academic excellence and making higher education more accessible for ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æn students. Your academic performance in high school has distinguished you as one of the very best students in your class and in ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ. We are honored to recognize your merit with the UA Scholars Award. Great things are in store for you and your fellow Scholars in the system. We encourage you to secure your $15,000 scholarship by applying to any of our three universities. The deadline to apply is August 15th. The application is FREE for UA Scholars using the code: UASCHOLARS2024.
The UA Scholars Award is a $15,000 scholarship awarded to students in the top ten percent of their ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ high school class at the end of the junior year. The Award may be used toward the cost of attendance at any location within the University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ system.
UA Scholars from all over ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ are making a difference in their communities. They come from diverse backgrounds and have a wide range of interests, but they are all united by their passion for learning and their desire to make ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ a better place.
