The campaign highlights a typical day in the life of two students, as well as two alums of the UA system who now work in the ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ travel industry.

The Senator Ted Stevens Legislative Internship Program empowers UA students to study and be a part of the legislative process in Juneau. The program draws students from all three universities and many majors to ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ's Capitol during the legislative session to work as full-time interns, while completing a rigorous academic program.

A century ago, these two institutions opened their doors to ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æns: one, a community bank in Anchorage that became First National Bank ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ, and the other, an agriculture and mining college in Fairbanks that evolved into the University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ (UA) system. Both sought to provide new opportunities for a rapidly-growing territory.
