Cheryl Siemers began her role as interim chancellor of the University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­°æ Anchorage on May 16, 2025, succeeding chancellor Sean Parnell.

Siemers has worked for UAA and KPC for more than 20 years, starting out as an adjunct and later full-time faculty member before becoming the assistant KPC director and, finally, campus director.
