University of ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Interim President Pat Pitney met with the Senate Education Committee Feb. 3 to provide an in-depth presentation outlining the university’s legislative priorities and highlighting a number of topics including the university system’s: key role in the state’s economy; strategic approach to serving ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ’s educational needs while operating under budgetary constraints; maintaining key programs; service to ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ during COVID-19; enrollment trends; and, research and federal initiatives.
